About Tom
I swore an oath to defend all Americans all the way back in 1987. I joined the Army Reserves in 1987 and have served everyday since then, either in the Reserves or on Active Duty. I come from a military family – my grandparents served in World War II and the Korean War, my father served stateside during Vietnam, my fathers-in-laws all served in Vietnam. My brother served in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. And now my children serve.
Since 1987, I have served on Active Duty or in the Army Reserves at tactical, operational, strategic and the national level and continue to serve today in the Army Reserves as a Chief Warrant Officer (CW3). I served in Afghanistan alongside U.S. Special Forces and am well-known as a bulldog when it comes to fighting injustice, training and taking care of my Soldiers and never ever quitting.
Since 2005, I have served in the military or the intelligence community as a subject matter expert on intelligence, terrorism and Middle Eastern conflict issues. I am intimately familiar with the mosaic of threats we face across around the world.
I recently served as the Senior Advisor on counterintelligence and security issues for the Director of National Intelligence.
I smoke cigars, drink beer, drive a Jeep, ride a Harley, shoot guns, train Soldiers and Boy Scouts and am unafraid of speaking truth to power especially when it comes to protecting our country.

The FBI, Army CID and Army Counterintelligence investigated me for over two and a half years without any predicate of a crime. The Department of Defense willingly participated in these Constitutional violations.

What I believe we must do:
- Restore faith in your government.
- Protect and restore our Constitutional Rights and liberties.
- Ensure we are never again attacked or threatened by China, Iran and Russia.
- End sanctuary cities.
- Secure our southern border, remove all illegal immigrants in particular the vilent criminals for the US.
- Fight for comprehensive immigration reform.
- Confront the myth of “gun violence.”
- Bring awareness and resources to the mental illness crisis in our country.
- Make the American education system the best education system in the world.
- Ensure the U.S. military remains the strongest military in the world and in space.
- Make America Great Again.
